Our Mission, Creating opportunity, choice and independence for the disabled to experience the fun of hand-cycling, to have the opportunity to train as a paralympian
Independent and responsible for its own funding, Hand-cycling.co.uk trust believes, that businesses, organisations and individuals can help disabled hand cyclists in many varied ways.
Hand-cycling is great exercise and helps keep you in good physical shape. You can be as competitive as you like or just ride your hand bike socially with your family and friends.
We support hand-cycle racing in Britain and in Europe, British hand-cyclists are pioneering downhill and other scary off-road activities and we organise our own longer distance road riding events where a group of hand cyclists will meet up for a ride.

“What is life if it isn’t an adventure? Disabled is a state of mind not a state of body, and I’m constantly amazed by what can be achieved if we set our heart and mind to it. It’s all about finding belief, confidence, motivation and commitment. And of course friends. Then there are no limits.”
